ADC KRONE have always been in the forefront of the development of Cat 6A cabling systems. This piece is based on a press release from them where they blow their own trumpet (and why not?) . . . . .
The ADC KRONE 10 Gigabit/s TrueNet Copper10 cabling system is the first cabling system to pass all of the available third-party verification tests against the TIA Category 6A standard and the more onerous ISO/IEC Class EA / Category 6A standards, including compliance at component level. The independent testing was carried out on May 1st by Delta test labs.
ADC KRONE’s unshielded CopperTen products have been subjected to the most exhaustive independent testing currently available against the TIA and ISO standards passing every test in our process," said Erik Bech of Delta test labs. "ADC KRONE is the first to be EC-VERIFIED BY Delta to the strict category 6A requirements for component compliance."
The cable and components for testing were taken directly from the production line and the cable was tested with six cable bound around one "victim" cable to create the worst case conditions for long and short runs.
These results are significant to the end user because it confirms that the cable will support 10Gigabit Ethernet in the worst case conditions.
About twelve years ago, Lynx Networks were the second company to be accedited by KRONE as an associate installer and have kept the accreditation ever since.
