We did it! The "Keynes as Mustard" 4-man cycle team completed the 500-mile ride from Lens in northern France to the Massif in three days. That's me third from the left looking a bit cream crackered because I've just cycled up a 5 mile hill to the base of the Puy-de-Dome volcano. That's my bike too.
Tony (second from left) and I then extended the challenge by riding the 2.5 miles up the 12% climb of the Puy-de-Dome. It was a gruelling effort but I'm glad I did it. Thanks to everyone that sponsored us and helped us raise around £2,500 for our chosen charities.
