Lynx Networks went to see a potential customer last week with a view to supplying a new phone system. It turns out that they have to give 12 months notice to cancel the incredibly over-priced maintenance contract on their existing 10-year old phone system. The rental for one year is more than the second-hand value of the phone system and all the handsets.
Taking everything into account, upgrading to a new and vastley better phone system works out cheaper than keeping the old one.
